2018. A new year. A fresh start.

No matter what’s gone on before, or even what your situation is now, you have a chance to write a different story.
IT’S UP TO YOU
THIS can be the year that you make that change you’ve been afraid to make. You can choose to step out; let go; take action; change your focus; and move ever closer toward being the person God always intended you to be.
Courageously taking the steps that God puts before you will let you to take hold of the treasures He has for YOU!
Life is an incredible treasure hunt—and YOU are the detective in charge of the search. Not all the treasures you find will be silver and gold Some are WAY better—like peace of mind, a sense of purpose and value, and feeling free and empowered to be your best you.
Sure, you will still encounter problems. You will likely revisit old ones and run into new ones, but in every problem there is a hidden treasure. It’s your job to find it.
THIS can be the year that you turn the corner and start experiencing more satisfaction and less frustration in your life.
No matter what your inner voice tells you, past history does NOT need to control any of us. Certainly, it brought us to this crossroads, but it does NOT control our future. We CAN do something different from this day forward.
THE GIFT OF A NEW START
God understands our human frailties. He understands how discouraged and defeated we can become when we lose sight of Him. I think that’s why he provides so many “clean slate” opportunities for each of us—new days, new weeks, new months, and even new years. Each “new” is a chance to get our feet under us, survey the terrain and set off in a new and better direction.
We aren’t stuck on the same old track. We have a chance to choose a different path. And if we don’t know which road to take, God’s got that covered as well. If we surrender our will to him, he is more than willing, and exceedingly able, to guide us to places we never even dreamed we could go.
I’m praying that this new year will reveal the key to opening many more of the blessed treasures God has for you!
